777 Caribbean Hot Lap Planning

To continue my preparations for the 777 Challenge, training and event validation, I will continue to sail in the Caribbean during this winter. My goals are as follows:


  • 4000 NM sailed solo
  • 30 days of solo sailing
  • 5 days of Unsupported Hiking
  • 10 days of unsupported Biking
  • Validate water and food planning
  • Validate long distance offshore ocean sailing capabilities
  • Validate long distance communications
  • Validate Ocean Passage Weather planning
  • Validate Tracy Jean Preparedness

  •  2-Feb-24 Arrive Brac Cayman (Stopover visit wreckage of Teignmouth Electron – Donald Crowhurst Golden   Globe Vessel)           
  •  5-Feb-24 Depart Brac Cayman           
  • 8-Feb-24 Cozumel (Visit Maybe?)            
  • 12-Feb-24 Depart Cozumel            
  • 19-Feb-24 Arrive St Augustine (Hot Lap complete)
